3D'in it up MayMay style with Country Pumpkin (Stamp Set)

You can see that I've done two different kinds of Halloween treat holders here :)  The first is a treat holder on a card, and the second a small box for hiding candy inside! All of the cute sentiments will be found on Maymaymadeit's stamp set:

Country Pumpkin

To find out how I created the small boxes, you can find the video here! (This project was made with the use of a cutting machine file)

Maymay makes truly affordable stamp sets that are so versatile and cute! The BEST part about it is that the plastic sheet that protects the stamp, and the sheet they cling to, are held together at the top so you won't lose the see through sheet that keeps your stamps clean!  AND.. they stamp SUPERBLY will all kind of inks! Try a set today, they are top notch!

Faux Metal Paper Technique

Silhouette Cameo flower pot die cut can be found here:

 Materials Needed:
Aleene's original tacky glue
A source of flame (lighter or candle)
and
Cardstock of your choice

I created the flower pot base using "craft" colored card stock.
Brush on a thick coat of Aleene's tacky glue.
Heat with flame until it bubbles and becomes covered in soot.
Let cool, and buff!

The box was an old puzzle box I found at work. I painted it with
black acrylic paint first, two layers.
Next I covered the top in a thick layer of the glue,
heated it in the flame,
cooled and buffed.

For the finishing look, I used silver Rub-n-buff
for a two-toned metal shine!
