Mixed Media Sea Card!

I started out by clear embossing some elements on the background

Next I added
some shimmer
sprays in the
colors:
Polished Jade
London Blue

Next I added a fussy cut anchor with some shiny eyelash, a mermaid die cut and some cheese cloth.

For final touches, I used Ranger's Speckle embossing powders,
popped up the banner with a double layer of foam and put it all together.

Before it was finished, I added a back drop / frame of white to really make that shimmer pop! And, added some Sparklet gems to top it off and add that mystery of the deep. (Treasure!)

Here are a few closeups of the card so you can see that I added a blended Sparklet gem pack and the shimmer and stamping that was added to create all the layers!

Love the Sparklets, Stamp set or elements of this Mixed Media piece I created?

I created a sympathy card as one of the children I had the chance to love passed this week. He will be missed and was loved by all!

I used two dies, one background die and one for daisies. Before putting the intricate piece on top, I cut out a simple oval.
It created a beautiful opening!

Three simple tiny gems in the middle of the flowers along with a vellum sentiment finished it off.

I did some clear embossing of the butterflies,
Created one from black embossing and then sprayed them.

The background was sprayed with Tim Holtz distress oxide sprays in:

The blue one I sprayed with Dylusions Shimmer Spray in:

This gave the shimmery look and unique quality to the lone butterfly, along with the white sentiment.
