YAY! A snow day!!
Remember when a snow day meant bundling up and waddling outside to meet friends and neighbors?
Then we'd make sled runs with a couple bumps in them that ‘gave you air’ and we would see who could sled the farthest.
After that, we were off to build the best fort and have snowball wars, eventually getting a snowball in the head which meant snow down the neck every time!
We made the best snow angels by having friends grab your arms and pull you straight up onto your feet and eventually we would master making the tallest snowman by rolling balls of snow only in clean undisturbed snow.
MAKE THE BEST LOOKING SNOWMAN WITH YOUR KIDS!
Finally, soaked, exhausted and red-cheeked, we would come inside and try to peel off the sticky frozen clothing only to find mom had hot cocoa waiting for us!
We’d always get to put in our own mini marshmallows!
