Challenging myself to do something a little out of 

my comfort zone, I lined up some ideas ahead of time here.

Additional inking on the sides makes the layers pop more.

Another peek at middle steps.

Here I'm adding gems, stickles and flair! I used Field Notes 

Ephemera from Tim Holtz! 

I love me some Timmy! 

 Nuvo Glitter and Metallics topped off the special additions 

to make it Sparkle!

Don't you love it? I added Tattered Rose spray to the 

cheese cloth and shaded down the butterfly with ink so it

wasn't so bright.

Copying is sometimes the best flattery! CAS(E) a card today!

Not much time to play along this time Crafters!

And now.. 

for my create card, casing their sketch!

A few tools used:

1. chevron embossing folder

2. Nuvo shimmer powders

3. Circle punches

4. black paper / white cardstock

5. Final touch with stickles (diamond)

I ran the black through the embossing folder, and punched out the circles after excessively dousing the paper with Nuvo shimmer powders and a TON of water. 

SUPER FUN!

If you look closely you'll see how shimmery the circles are and a tiny bead of diamond stickles running down the black border, for a subtle glitz! 

Last thing! 

I used a sharpie marker to color both edges of the black since the embossing folder made the piece ever so slightly smaller. oops!

And also connected the letters on the sentiment. With the marker. I stamped that sentiment using Tim Holtz's Stamping Platform.

My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge!

Look at this fabulous flower 

stamp set! It not only

 has the stamps, 

but the dies!

and matching stencil!

These make for awesome cards

without having to think to

hard or search for things that

match!

Using

daubers, I

colored them

in such a

quick and

beautiful

way!

I added a couple extra "weeds" lol, and then used

a Fiskars stencil to outline them in yellow causing a halo

effect....

Mostly because I'm ADDICTED to the Stickles gels and

I've been putting them on EVERYTHING! 

These fabulous

spacey themed glitter gels

come in 6 stunning

styles!

Gotta Get em' All!!

Here is a closeup so you can see the glitz!

You can put it on heavy or light.

When all was said and done, I added a second layer because I just wanted it to POP even more!
