The background is a resist technique using

clear embossing ink for the stars

and then blue and purple distress inks to

cover the background. The white variances

in the background were water

sprinkles as distress inks react to water!

Hey Crafters!

I'm taking an evening to create

Close to My Heart acrylic blocks

Bitsy Basic Gray floral stamps

Un-Named wooden stamp

May May Made It Stamps: "Just to Say Hello"

Tim Holtz inks:

Crushed Olive / Forest Moss

Worn Lipstick / Pickled Strawberry

Walnut Stain

The flowers were double stamped with two tones,

as well as their leaves and stems.

Spring Transformations

Just like in the spring when all of the vegetation is budding to bring new leaves and flowers, Jen has transformed ordinary paper crafting items to make this beautiful card.

She used a Stampin Up flower punch to create paper flowers in various colors with cute buttons to make the centers. The card base and leaves were created by embossing to make this an awesome project for any level of crafter.
