Instructions:
First, you will need 1 brown paper bag - lunch sack size.
You need to fold your bag in half. Use your bone folder to get a nice crease. Next, you will need the 4 - pattern papers measuring 5-3/8" X 5". Now, adhere you pattern paper to the folded bag. One paper on each side. Tip: if you want to cut the notch of the bag out for easy access to the tag you are placing in the opening. Then you can use a 1" circle punch. Don't have one - then just use your scissors.
I created a smaller pocket on one of my inside pages by cutting 1 of my papers to 3-1/8" x 5". Adhering the leftover piece of paper first to the bag. Then, taking the 3-1/8" X 5" paper and putting adhesive only on three sides in a U shape. Placing it on top of the paper you just glued down. Now, you have a pocket to place tags, pictures anything you would like.
I put a magnet on my album for a nice closure. To do this I adhered the small magnet to the top right hand corner of my album. Then, I put foam tape all around the magnet so it doesn't move. I then cover the magnet with my embellishment. I repeat the process on the next page. Tip: To get the perfect lined up placement, first put the second magnet on the back of the first page (i.e. cover) then, using a black marker, color the magnet. While it's still wet, press the album closed, pushing on the magnet area. When you open it up - there will be a black mark so you know exactly where to place the 2nd magnet.
I put some velcro as a closure to one of my pockets to have a little place to keep extra cards, tags etc. I also put some adhesive along the side of the bag (top and bottom, where it pleats) to make it sturdier, and so that the opening wouldn't be so big.
I punched little cards from my scraps and adhered them with washi tape to my album. I plan on using my little cards to hold uplifting quotes or notes. The washi tape makes it super easy to place it on a door, desk etc.
